Tennis courts

Penrith Castle Park has four fully refurbished tennis courts that are open to the public. The courts have new hard surfaces, nets, posts, fencing, flood lighting and automated gate access. They open for court bookings on 25 September 2023 and will be open all year round from 7am to 10pm.

Book a tennis court

Tennis courts can be booked online on a 'Pay and Play' basis up to two weeks in advance. Court hire is £6 per court, per hour. Floodlighting is an extra £2 per hour.
