Funerals without a funeral director

If preferred, the bereaved family can handle the entire funeral. Such a funeral is sometimes called a 'personalised,' 'independent,' or 'family only' funeral. There are various steps to take after you lose a loved one. Please see 'what to do when someone dies' on GOV.UK.
