Guide to the 2023 Review of Parliamentary constituencies

The Boundary Commission for England will undertake a review of the Parliamentary constituencies for England and will report to Parliament by 1 July 2023.

Initial proposals for the North West

The Boundary Commission have published the initial proposals for the North West, consultation closed on the 2 August 2021. The Boundary Commission review team received 33,000 responses and is now preparing them for publication in early 2022. There will be a further opportunity for the public to have their say, including a number of public hearings. The Boundary Commission will hold a consultation on all the responses received on the initial proposals.

Public hearings

The secondary consultation on the proposed new map of constituencies in England took place between Tuesday 22 February and Monday 4 April 2022.
