Referendums
Referendums give the electorate a chance to vote on a single political question. Referendums can be for an area or for the whole of the country.
Referendum on the adoption of Matterdale Neighbourhood Plan, for LNPA to use to help decide on the outcome of planning applications was held on 15 October 2015.
Referendum on the adoption of Upper Eden Neighbourhood Plan, for EDC to use to help decide on the outcome of planning applications, was held on 7 March 2013.
Referendum on the type of development in the Carr House Neighbourhood Development Order, to have planning permission, was held on Thursday 22 February 2018.
