Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Neighbourhood Planning Area
Designation of Sockbridge and Tirril Neighbourhood Area
The first stage in developing a neighbourhood plan is to designate the 'neighbourhood area' that it will cover. A Neighbourhood Area application was received from Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council on 23rd December 2024. After a six-week consultation period we designated the Sockbridge and Tirril Neighbourhood Planning Area on 29th May 2025. Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council now have the right to produce their own Neighbourhood Plan or Neighbourhood Development Orders.
