Appleby in Westmorland Parish Neighbourhood Planning Area

The first stage in developing a neighbourhood plan is to designate the 'neighbourhood area' that it will cover. A Neighbourhood Area application was received from Appleby-in-Westmorland Town Council on 25 September 2014. After a six-week consultation period it was approved under delegated powers on 11 November 2014. Appleby-in-Westmorland Town Council now have the right to produce their own neighbourhood plan or neighbourhood development orders.
