How to pay your business rates
You can pay your Business Rates in the following ways:
- ten or twelve monthly instalments payable on the 18th of the month (the number of instalments will be reduced for bills issued after 1 April)
- annually, or half-yearly
You will need your business rates reference number before you can pay. You can pay in one of the following ways:
Pay business rates online; enter your business rates reference number (8 digits long on the front of your bill), the amount to pay and your debit card details.
Pay by direct debit or standing order

Pay by telephone
The telephone payment service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. To pay by telephone you will need the business rates reference number (8 digits long on the front of your bill), the amount to pay and a debit card.
Write the authorisation number down which we give at the end of the telephone call, in case you need it.
Pay using internet or telephone banking
To pay using internet or telephone banking you will need our bank details, our sort code 20-67-21 and the account number 20346780. Use the reference number shown at the top left on the front of your Business Rates bill.
