How to Pay your Business Rates
You can pay your Business Rates in the following ways:
- ten or twelve monthly instalments payable on the 18th of the month (the number of instalments will be reduced for bills issued after 1 April)
- annually, or half-yearly
You will need your Business Rates reference number before you can pay. You can pay in one of the following ways:
To pay online you will need the Business Rates reference number (8 digits long on the front of your bill), the amount to pay and a debit card.
Pay by direct debit or standing order
Pay by telephone
The telephone payment service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. To pay by telephone you will need the Business Rates reference number (8 digits long on the front of your bill), the amount to pay and a debit card.
You will be advised of the authorisation number at the end of the call, please write this down in case you need it.
Pay using internet or telephone banking
If you have this facility with your bank you will need our bank details which are: Sort Code 20-66-97, Account Number 20346780. The reference to use is the Reference Number shown at the top left on the front of your Business Rates bill.
