Residents who need a clinical waste collection must contact their doctor or a state registered nurse to request a collection from a domestic dwelling on their behalf.
Clinical waste includes:
- Blood or other human fluids
- Medical items, including sharp instruments, syringes, swabs, bandages and any other waste arising from medical or veterinary use.
