Regular Lateral Flow Testing of those without symptoms is a critical part of Cumbria’s strategy for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
As lockdown restrictions ease and visitor numbers to the county increase again, hospitality businesses have a key role to play.
We know that the pandemic has had a severe impact on the county’s hospitality sector, and we want to support your safe reopening.
Regular Covid-19 testing helps you protect your business, your staff and your customers – and stops outbreaks from spreading.
There are two ways your business can access free Covid-19 testing from Cumbria County Council.
- They will help you set up an in-workplace testing programme. You get free tests, free delivery, free training, free PPE, free set-up and free ongoing support.
- They will supply you with free tests for employees to test themselves at home.
To find out more contact ask.LFT@cumbria.gov.uk and our dedicated project team will be in touch.
Cumbria County Council can also supply you with tests to give to your customers.
If you are self-employed or a very small business, it may be easier for you to access testing via other routes that have been organised nationally. You can find out more about the options available at: www.cumbria.gov.uk/covidtesting.
