We are looking to recruit a Planning Officer to join its busy development management team and are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person, who will handle their own caseload of planning applications, pre application files and planning enforcement files. As part of a supportive, hard-working and motivated team you should have previous experience of working in planning, have excellent communication skills and be able to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
To be considered for the post you should hold a Degree in Town and Country Planning or an equivalent qualification that is recognised to final professional level by the RTPI, of which you will be a member. In addition you should be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with a range of planning issues through planning policy or development management work.
An essential car user allowance of up to £963 per annum is available along with a relocation package of up to £5125 if appropriate.
