Job summary

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to promote Eden as a great place for business. This exciting and dynamic role will support existing local Eden businesses wishing to expand as well as attracting new businesses into Eden.

The role requires a forward thinking, motivated individual with excellent marketing and communications skills together with proven experience of delivering projects in partnership with other organisations, sourcing funding and providing support and advice for businesses.

A graduate level or equivalent qualification/experience in Business studies or related subject such as Economic Development or Marketing is essential.

There is a requirement for regular travel around the District to liaise with businesses and the post holder must therefore be able to travel independently around the District. There is also a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends as required to carry out the duties of the post. A relocation allowance of £5125 is available.

 Note: Interviews may include an assessment exercise.
