The Monitoring Officer's duty is to ensure that the Council, its officers and elected Councillors, maintain the highest standards of conduct in all they do.
Code of conduct for councillors
The conduct of county, district, parish and town councillors in England is governed by codes of conduct established by the Localism Act 2011.
Making a complaint about a councillor
All complaints about any councillors must be made to the monitoring officer in writing on the form provided, or by either letter or email.
