Data quality

Data Quality is an assessment of the fitness of data to serve a given purpose. Data is generally considered to be high quality if it is fit for its intended uses in operations, decision making and planning.

We need high quality data to help make informed decisions. To see how decisions are made see the Decision Making Process.

Data is used to monitor our performance and certain data is also reported to Government.
