District councillors duties
District councillors are elected by the residents of the ward they represent in Eden district. District councillors, sometimes referred to a members, decide how the council should carry out its various activities. They represent public interest as well as individuals living within the ward they represent. They are required by law to declare any financial or other interests they have.
