Pavements

Cumbria Highways maintain pavements, which form part of the public highway in Eden, on behalf of Cumbria County Council.

Obstructed pavements

Street works, roadworks, skips, scaffolds, hoardings, advertising boards, or building materials sometimes become obstruct pavements. If these works block the pavement so pedestrians, prams, or wheelchairs cannot pass by, they are obstructing it.
