Young volunteers

The Museum's young volunteers worked on the 'Riding the Past' display which celebrated the 2015 Aviva Tour of Britain travelling through Eden and past the Museum. Following on from the success of 'Riding the Past' project and display, the Museum curators saw an opportunity to set up a 'Young Volunteers' group.

Who should be a young volunteer?

Anyone interested in local history and heritage, aged between 8 and 18, who would like to find out how a Museum works, see how the Museum cares for its collections, puts on its exhibitions and gets involved with community events, then this could be for you.

What to do if you are interested in being a young volunteer

Anyone interested in joining the Penrith and Eden Museum young volunteers should contact the Museum's curators.
