Penrith Alhambra has 3 screens, both fitted with Dolby digital sound. Wheelchair access is provided to two screens. Films showing include the latest cinema releases, as well as a Sunday early evening alternative season of foreign-language and independent films. Highlights' rural touring scheme is a network of 90 volunteer groups across Cumbria, County Durham and Northumberland.
