Holiday accommodation quality charter
Quality holiday accommodation is a very important part of the Eden tourism product. In recognition of this and for the benefit of our visitors, all operators in Eden who wish to promote their holiday accommodation with us are required to have either a current quality assurance inspection or have signed a copy of the Accommodation Quality Charter.
Accommodation Quality Charter
In order to ensure quality is maintained by local accommodation businesses and recognised by our visitors, Cumbria Tourism and partners including Eden Tourism has developed an 'Accommodation Quality Charter.' We intend to request non-accredited Eden accommodation businesses sign up to the Charter as a requirement to being promoted in the Eden Holiday Guide and Visit Eden website.
The Charter covers important areas such as legal considerations, health and safety and good customer care practice.
The Charter will be accompanied by a complaints procedure which, together with the Charter, will provide a feedback mechanism for visitors who may be unhappy with their chosen accommodation.
