The 2018 Eden Tourism Summit: 'Tourism in Eden: Looking to the Future: Challenges and Opportunities' is on Wednesday 17 October at Shap Wells Hotel, near Penrith.
We have brought together exceptionally high profile tourism professionals who will speak about important tourism issues, which will directly benefit your business. In addition, we will be running workshops sessions in the afternoon. Space is limited and must be booked in advance. We urge you to book your place(s) as soon as possible as this is a day you won’t want to miss.
Jim Walker, Chair of the Eden Tourism Network will chair the Summit, following a welcome by Rose Rouse, new Chief Executive at Eden District Council.

- Deirdre Wells OBE - CEO of Visit Kent/Go To Places, former Chief Executive of UKinbound
- Kurt Janson - Director, The Tourism Alliance

In addition, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in two workshop sessions in the afternoon.

Promote your Eden business at the 2018 Eden Tourism Summit
As part of this year's Eden Tourism Summit, we plan to give out over 100 delegate packs to people attending the event.
The summit delegate pack is a great way of promoting your business to delegates and speakers attending the summit - encouraging them to visit, experience and discover what our area has to offer. Delegate pack entry is free.
We ask all participating businesses / organisations to provide:
- Up to 2 separate promotional gifts
and / or
- 1 leaflet which must include a special delegate offer which should be valid up until end of 2019 (as a guide).
Gifts and leaflets must be able to fit inside the Delegate Pack, which is A5 size. Material for 120 packs will be required.

Take an exhibitor stand at the 2018 Eden Tourism Summit
The Eden Tourism Summit is a great opportunity to network and we are offering the chance to have an exhibitor stand at the event-ideal if you have information that you would like to get across to around 100 local tourism businesses and organisations.
If you would like a stand at the summit, the cost is just £60 including VAT plus the delegate fee of £30 including VAT for each person attending. For a booking form or for more information, please contact email@example.com.
