Penrith has a small but varied selection of traders who gather in the Bandstand, Penrith town centre. They are looking for new businesses to join them. Appleby Saturday market
Boroughgate, Appleby-in-Westmorland CA16 6XE
Appleby's small, friendly market, is held in picturesque Boroughgate. Stalls offer fruit and vegetables, baking, fresh fish, household linens and books, with extra stallholders attending during the summer. Contact the Economic Development Support Officer for more details.
Penrith Saturday market (Auction Mart: Junction 40, M6, A66)
Market4U manage this weekly market every Saturday from 9am to 4pm (7am to 4pm for stallholders and car boot sale sellers). There is ample free parking and public toilet facilities on the site. For more details of the market, telephone Mr Choudry, on 07957 610 850.
