Bulky household waste collection
Bulky household waste is freestanding furniture that is too big to go into a blue refuse sack. We will collect up to three items of large furniture from outside your home for £26. However, we would encourage you, where possible, to sell or give furniture away that is reusable.
Is the furniture reusable?

To give away furniture you do not want, advertise it free of charge on Freegle, take it to a charity furniture shop or, if it is too large to fit in a car, a charity may collect it from your home.
Advertise items on the Penrith and Eden District Freegle website, free of charge, for furniture you are happy to give away.
