Residents who need a clinical waste collection must contact their doctor or a state registered nurse to request a collection from a domestic dwelling on their behalf.

Clinical waste includes:

  • Blood or other human fluids
  • Excretion
  • Medical items, including sharp instruments, syringes, swabs, bandages and any other waste arising from medical or veterinary use.

Which clinical waste do we not collect?

We do not collect sharps from business properties.
