Eden Local Strategic Partnership

Eden Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) aimed to ensure that the public, private, voluntary and community sectors 'joined-up' their activities to improve quality of life in the local area.The Partnership is now being developed to better reflect the needs the local people.

Carlisle and Eden Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership

The Carlisle and Eden Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership is a statutory partnership that brings agencies together to reduce crime, disorder and substance misuse in Carlisle and Eden.

Penrith Partnership

The Penrith Partnership hosted the Penrith Market Towns Initiative. Although still in existence, the role is now undertaken by the Vitality of Penrith Group.

Vitality of Penrith Group

The Vitality of Penrith Group was set up in February 2008 by Eden District Council to build and continue the success of the Penrith Market Town Initiative. The group consists of stakeholders with a vested interest in the economic and social development of Penrith.

Action with Communities in Cumbria (ACT) provides advice and business support throughout Eden and Cumbria. Services include community development, social economic development advice, training, social enterprise, village / rural services and funding.

Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is a private-public partnership made up of local agencies, organisations and networks that work together to achieve economic development and regeneration within the County. It provides a strategic lead in all activities contributing to the growth and vibrancy of the County’s economy, and where appropriate takes positive action, using the skills, capability and networks of its partners to contribute to developing local, regional and national strategies and policies.
