Fees and Charges

Many of the services we provide to the community are funded through the Council Tax system. At County and District level, these services include:

• Education
• Refuse Collection
• Library Services
• Social Care and so on

Our fees and charges are for services which are not covered by Council Tax or Business Rates. They are for services we provide, such as:

• Leisure
• Bereavement
• Parking
• Environmental
• Planning
• Building Control
• Other charges are made for licenses
