Councillors Come to You - Upper Eden
6pm-7pm Tuesday 2 October at Brough Memorial Hall

Do you live, work or run a business in the Upper Eden area and have ideas about how you would like improve the area? Then why not attend the 'Councillors Come to You' meeting taking place on Tuesday 2 October from 6pm-7pm at Brough Memorial Hall, New Road, Brough?

At the meeting Upper Eden residents, businesses, parish councils and community groups can meet Eden District Council's Executive and discuss opportunities and issues for their area. Eden District Council's Leader, Gordon Nicolson said: "The Councillors Come to You meetings are all about listening to and engaging with communities. Eden is a large rural area and I am keen that local people have the opportunity to discuss the issues that matter to them with members of the Executive."

"Brough is the second destination for a 'Councillors Come to You' meeting, the first having been at Alston on 11 September. The Upper Eden Community Interest Company is already very active in the delivery of the objectives in the Upper Eden Community Plan and I am keen to hear the ideas the community has to improve the vitality and sustainability of their area."
