Town Centre Farmers’ Market 17 April 2012
The Penrith Farmers’ Market, which is next on Tuesday 17 April, has grown! The market has fluctuated in size in recent times due to the economic downturn but more stallholders are set to attend thanks to a new initiative, by the Council’s Town Centres Officer, Annabel Candler.
Annabel said: “The variation of traders coming to the market is growing month by month. To help the atmosphere of the day, entertainers have been getting in touch, next Tuesday we will have the Blue Jam Folk and a Jazz trio providing live music for those that wish to have a look around. Each month the market is set to increase and provide even more for anyone venturing out. It will also provide delicacies for those that need some lunchtime sustenance!”
If you would like to be involved, whether entertaining or providing a service, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01768 817817. The markets have great potential for anyone looking to start a business so if you are a young entrepreneur and fancy dabbling in retail, please contact Annabel as soon as possible.
