Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) Strategic Assessment

In 2008 the Home Office implemented the recommendations highlighted in the CDRP reform programme, which meant each CDRP in England was required to produce an annual Strategic Assessment of crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse, to be reviewed or refreshed every six months. This assessment was to include; crime data, current projects, targets and community priorities. This detailed assessment will inform a wider process designed to support strategic decision-making in relation to the setting of priorities and allocation of resources to achieve agreed outcomes.

To be effective, this process must be supported by an efficient business process which will be underpinned by appropriate systems, resources, people, knowledge and information.

Knowing what the priorities are for our communities, what we have achieved and what we need to do differently or more effectively is vital for a safer Carlisle and Eden.

In Carlisle and Eden, we are currently reviewing our Partnership priorities for the coming year. The 2009 Strategic Assessment will be available on this page soon.
