Village hall grants are available to village hall and community building committees. Under this scheme we may give grants towards capital works, one-off major items and major repairs and improvements. The level of grant is subject to a maximum of 40% of approved expenditure, with a limit of £2,000 in any one year. The most recent Budget Book has details of the current year's budget.
Grants awarded in previous years
- 2010-2011 we awarded five grants all for £2,000.
- 2009-2010 we awarded ten grants, ranging from £500 to £2,000.
- 2008-2009 we awarded six grants, ranging from £250 to £2,500.
- 2007-2008 we awarded seven grants, ranging from £1,050 to £4,000.
- 2006-2007 we awarded six grants, ranging from £395 to £4,000.
