Due to work on the exciting new development - 'Penrith New Squares,' Princes Street will be closed for 36 weeks and Southend Road for 32 weeks. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained and all businesses on Princes Street and Southend Road will be open as usual.

Changes to parking in Penrith
A new hourly parking charge of £1 will apply in the Council’s Sandgate and Bluebell Lane Pay and Display car parks from 12 September 2011. Full details of the changes are available on the Eden District Council website.
