All the roads within Eden District, except the A66 Trunk Road and the M6, are maintained by CAPITA Symonds on behalf of Cumbria County Council. CAPITA Symonds also maintain road lighting throughout the district.

Highway problems
Highway problem such as flooding, defects, street Lighting, traffic signals and winter maintenance can be reported on the Cumbria County Council webpage reporting a problem on the highway.
Problems caused by pot holes, dead animals or highway drainage should be reported. You can also report a problem by telephoning the Highways Hotline on 0845 609 6609 or emailing: contact@cumbriahighways.co.uk.
