Taxi ranks in Penrith

We are responsible for one full-time taxi rank in Sandgate which will hold up to seven vehicles.

There are also 3 part-time taxi ranks in operation daily between 8pm and 3am at:

• Market Square - space for 2 taxis
• Devonshire Street - space for 2 taxis
• Middlegate - space for 3 taxis

Penrith Railway Station taxi rank

Penrith Railway Station taxi rank will hold up to five vehicles. Taxi proprietors require a permit to use this rank. Further information may be obtained from the train operators, currently Virgin Trains, or from the licensing team.
