Historic Environment Conservation

Eden boasts a wealth of historic buildings, structures, landscapes and areas and a rich cultural heritage spanning the last 6,000 years. This helps to make Eden an enjoyable place to live and such a fascinating place to visit.

We are proud of our historic environment and want to conserve it. Outside of the National Park, over 15% of all our buildings are defined as historic, ie they are listed buildings and/or in a designated conservation area.
