An Accessible and Inclusive Environment SPD

We have adopted a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on 'An Accessible and Inclusive Environment' on 21 June 2007. The SPD sets out guidance for the design of new developments to owners and developers of all premises and their professional advisers across the whole of Eden District that lies outside the Lake District National Park. We will use this SPD to determine planning applications.

You can download the SPD document along with the Adoption Statement and a Statement prepared under Regulation 18 (4)(b). Alternatively, paper copies of these documents are available to view at Alston, Appleby, Kirkby Stephen, Penrith and Shap. See the list of locations and opening times for viewing the LDF documents.

The document can be made available in alternative formats upon request.
