The following provides details of the draft documents and responses to them during the production of the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).

Production

Eden District Council prepared its draft Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) as part of the Eden Local Development Framework, and made it publicly available for comments between Monday 27 June and Friday 5 August 2005. Examination

The SCI was amended in the light of the comments received and submitted to the Secretary of State on 21 December. View the submitted Statement of Community Involvement (PDF: 499Kb / 42 pages)

This was then subject to further consultation between 3 January and 14 February 2006 and the comments received were summarised in the Regulation 31 Statement. View comments received for the submitted SCI (Regulation 31 Statement) (PDF: 1.9Mb / 38 pages)

These two documents formed the basis of the Examination which took the form of written representations. Following the Examination the Inspector wrote a report which identified some small amendments that were binding for the Council. View the Inspectors Report (PDF: 186Kb / 17 pages) 

These have been included in the final Statement of Community Involvement that was adopted by the Council.
