The Primary Development Control Policies Development Plan Document (DPD) will provide greater detail and clarity to the spatial policies within the Core Strategy. It will cover issues such as:
- The Natural Environment
- Natural Resources
- Employment
- Parking and Transport
- Recreation
- The Built Environment
- Tourism
- Retail Development
The Council is currently focusing its resources on producing the Core Strategy and the Housing DPD, and as a result work on the Primary Development Control Policies DPD has been put on hold.
Work will begin on the Primary Development Control Policies DPD once resources become available.
