Gas Safe Register

Gas Safe Register is the new hallmark for gas safety in Great Britain and the Isle of Man. Gas Safe Register replaces Corgi and is delivered under an agreement with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

From 1 April 2009, by law, only Gas Safe registered engineers should carry out work on gas appliances or installations in any property. Every engineer will carry a Gas Safety Register ID card with their own unique licence number, showing the type of gas work they are qualified to do. Before any gas work is carried out in your property always check the engineer is qualified to to do the work required.

You can find or check the credentials of a Gas Safe registered engineer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online at www.GasSafeRegister.co.uk or call 0800 408 5500.
