Caravan Site Licences

Environmental Services Section is responsible for the issuing of caravan site licences, once land has obtained planning permission. An application must be made to the Council for a caravan site licence:

printed copies of the above form are available from the Mansion House, Penrith. The licence will contain conditions relating to health and safety, facilities and fire safety etc. There are three different sets of model conditions which may be attached to site licences, depending on the type of caravans stationed on the site they are:

• Model Standards for Touring Caravan Sites (PDF: 43Kb / 5 pages)
• Model Standards for Holiday Caravan Sites (PDF: 64Kb / 8 pages)
• Model Standards for Permanent Residential Mobile Home Sites (PDF: 58Kb / 8 pages)

There is no charge for the licence. Regular inspections are undertaken by the Council of all licensed caravan sites within Eden.
