Easter Holiday Sports Programme 2010
Our Leisure Team organise a programme of sports courses for children and young people during the school holidays at various venues throughout the district.
The Holiday Sports Programme courses are delivered by national governing body qualified coaches and aim to engage children and young people in sport and physical activity. The courses provide a varied programme of skills development, small sided games and aim to encourage young people to maintain an interest in sport and join their local sports clubs.
Over the course of the Easter Holiday, Eden District Council will be running a series of activity programmes for children aged 3-16. New to the Council’s programme are Golf and Squash sessions, delivered in partnership with Penrith Driving Range and Penrith Squash Club. These sessions will offer participants the opportunity to learn a new and challenging sport whilst more experienced players will be able to further their skills and match play experience. Additionally, the Council will continue to run a series of progressive activities at Penrith Leisure Centre including; Bowls, Cardio Gym and Climbing. There will also be a range of Swimming and Lifeguard courses held at both Appleby Swimming Pool and Penrith Leisure Centre.

Parents booking 2 places on the same course at the same time will be able to take advantage of the Buy One, Get One Half Price offer on any course held at Penrith Leisure Centre other than pool based activities. The price indicated in the S/O column above is the price of the half price which will be applied to the second booked place.
