Frenchfield Sports Centre is the Council’s main provision for outdoor sports pitches and is located on the outskirts of Penrith. The Frenchfield Sports Centre is situated on a 30 acre site and facilitates for the majority of the local senior and junior football fixtures.
It offers seven full size football pitches, two mini soccer pitches and an artificial cricket wicket. The sports pavilion offers 10 changing rooms with showers and includes a ground floor pavilion room, first floor gallery room, kitchen and toilets.
Also available for hire for a number of alternative uses including sports competitions and other sports specific requirements. The facilities are available for meeting and conference hire. The facility is supported by free on site car parking.
