Our Leisure Grant Fund assists sports clubs, community groups and individuals achieving excellence and personal development in sport and the arts within Eden.
Grants to Organisations
The Grants to Organisations fund will consider and support a wide variety of projects. The terms and conditions require the applicant organisation to be properly constituted, with appropriate officers and that its application is supported with the organisations previous two years accounts where appropriate.
The Grants to Organisations fund is available for revenue and capital projects and must normally be used within twelve months of the award being made.
The Council's contribution will not exceed 25% towards revenue costs of a project and will not exceed 10% towards capital costs of a project. In both instances the maximum grant award is £500 per project.
Grants are considered by the Community Services Portfolio Holder and all grants are made at the discretion of the Council and will not exceed the budget available.

Grants to Individuals
The Grants to Individuals fund is designed to support local people in the achievement of excellence and personal development in sport and the arts. This will usually mean participation at national level or beyond for sports related applications. For arts related applications, consideration will be given to the community benefit associated with the activity.
Grants will normally be paid up to 25% of the expenditure to a maximum grant award of £300.
Grants are considered by the Community Services Portfolio Holder and all grants are made at the discretion of the Council and will not exceed the budget available.
