Eden District Council has resolved to assist in
the implementation of the National Cycling Strategy and to build on
recently experienced successes in facilitating cycling. Through the
eventual provision of its own District Cycling Strategy the
Authority intends to co-ordinate policies and programmes of action
which will help to promote and encourage cycling, both for utility
trips and recreation within the District.
