The Housing, Health and Safety Rating System is the standard used when private rented housing conditions are checked during a house inspection. This is a National Standard and as a Landlord, you must ensure that your properties are free from hazards, or that they are reduced to an acceptable low risk. - in a good state of repair you can access many benefits by applying to become an Accredited Landlord.
- in a bad state of repair we can take action to ensure your property is brought up to standard, read our enforcement policy.
How we rate private rented housing
