Registered Social Landlord (Housing Associations) accommodation for rent.
We work closely with several Housing Associations to develop affordable housing for rent and shared ownership, and can nominate people to Registered Social Landlord (RSL) for vacant properties. If you are seeking this type of accommodation you need to have your name on the Council's Housing Register, which is managed on behalf of the Council by Eden Housing Association. You will need to contact Eden Housing Association and complete an application form for the Register. In addition you should also contact individual RSL's directly as you will also need to complete their application forms. For further information about RSLs click on the links below.
The consultation period for the new Cumbria Choice Scheme which sets out changes in the way Council and Housing Associations allocate houses to rent ended on 30th April 2010.
