Cumbria warm homes project is a joint project involving all Cumbrian district Councils, Cumbrian County Council and E.on and to provide the best deals for you home.
The project offers free Home Energy Health Checks that will provide you with a written survey report and quotation for your property. In Eden the survey will be carried out by Cosyseal insulation Ltd.
The Cumbria Warm Homes Project 2011-2012 recommends you follow these three steps to a warmer home.

Step One: Understanding the energy needs of your home is important if you wish to keep warm and save money on your fuel bills. This project will help you to do this by providing a free energy survey of your home. Just call the freephone number 0800 328 8419 to arrange a home visit.

Step Two: A trained energy surveyor will call at your property to complete a whole house energy survey, which they will then convert into an easy to read report. They will also provide written quotations for any free or discounted insulation measures that you may qualify for.

Step Three: You can then choose from those energy measures that are best suited to your property, including:
- Loft Insulation
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Tank Lagging
- Draught Proofing
Your energy surveyor may also recommend other options such as:
- Boiler and Heating Systems
- External Wall Insulation
- Internal Wall Insulation
- Solar Hot Water
- Solar Photovoltaic
This is a time limited offer, the project ends in March 2013.
