Finding the information on a complex website need not be a daunting task. There is more than one way to find what you want depending on how you prefer to use the web.
Search
Our search is in the top left hand corner of each page. Type some simple keywords into that and click the 'Go' button. You will be presented with a list of pages matching your keywords. If the list is too big try adding another keyword to refine it a bit. If the list is too short try removing a keyword to make the search a bit more general. More information is in our search tips.

Browse
Many people like to browse a website using a navigation menu. Our menu is on the left hand side. The section you are in is shown in paler green. Selecting a page in the menu will make it go to the top of that section. The page you are on is shown in bold text. The page you are on is also shown in the breadcrumb trail at the top of the content above the main heading. Clicking any link in this trail will take you back through the site.

A-Z of Services - this is an alphabetical list of services we deliver. It also includes some of those delivered by Cumbria County Council eg education and social care services.
Note - it is not an alphabetical listing of all pages in the site.

Site map - displays a link to every page on the www.eden.gov.uk site in hierarchical order.
RSS feeds
With RSS you don't even have to come to the site! Subscribe to an RSS feed and the information comes to you. More information about our RSS feeds
