Of these, Eden District Council directly
operates the Alston, Kirkby Stephen and Penrith Information
Centres.
The Tourist Information Centres offer a
comprehensive information service, both to visitors and residents
of Eden. Visitors are able to utilise an accommodation finding and
booking service, receive information regarding attractions and
events and are able to purchase publications, maps, tickets and
souvenirs. Eden's Tourism Manager works at the Town Hall, Penrith
