Everybody generates waste, whether at home or
work, and need to dispose of it safely. Waste can be any material
that people want to discard, if they no longer have a use for it.
Households in Eden generated approximately 23,767 tonnes of waste
during the year 2005/06 14,451 tonnes were taken to the tip and
9,316 tonnes were recycled.
