Our Bereavement Services hold the national standard for maintenance and care of cemeteries the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM).

Bereavement Service office opening times

The Office is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 9.30am. Appointments can be made outside these hours by arrangement.

For application forms to buy a grave, notice of interment, order a memorial plaque, erect a headstone and surrender a burial right see bereavement service's application forms.

Cemetery records

Cemetery records for Alston, Appleby, Garrigill, Nenthead and Penrith are kept in the bereavement services office. You need to make an appointment and pay a fee to view cemetery records.
