Doing your bit for your village?
Recycle your cans, foil, glass bottles and jars, paper and card, plastics and textiles at your local village recycling centre. Through supporting your village recycling centre you are supporting your community as well as helping the environment. The village recycling centres generate income for schools, community groups and parish councils. Eden District Council makes payments of £15 per tonne to adopting groups for all cans, glass and paper collected at their village recycling centre.
