Where can I recycle?
There are over 50 recycle points in Eden open all the time. For locations see map opposite or see table below for locations and facilities. You can also recycle at Flusco or Kirkby Stephen household waste recycling centres.
What can I recycle at a recycle point?
We are not able to offer every recycling option at each of our recycling points. Find our nearest recycle point and see which materials have a "Yes" next to them to know what you can recycle there.
Do I need to prepare my recycling?
Yes, some recycling does need preparing see recycle point materials.
Who looks after the recycle points?
Each village recycle point is adopted by a local community group which may be the village hall committee, parish council, school or similar group. Adopting groups receive £15 per tonne for glass, paper and cans collected in return for keeping the site clean and tidy.
